Automatic Oil Transferring System for the feeding of power generation units in the Valdezcaray Ski Station
Valdezcaray Ski Station-La Rioja (Spain), 15/09/2002
One of the main application for the High Flow Pressure Units is to transfer oil in conditions which, in addition to the reliability and security requirements, specific geographic conditions are presented.
That's the reason why, during the last year, the engineering company Cruz Marqués, S.L. contacted with our Technical Department to require INPRO'S collaboration in their project Valdezcaray Ski Station (La Rioja - Spain). This project concerned the oil supplying from the downloading zone of the lorries (height 1450m) to the highest zone of the station (1800 and 1850m), supplying a 3.200 l/h flow.
This installation of two Two Parts INPRO High Flow Units 3.200 GEMT solves the oil feeding for the power generation groups and tanks for the refuelling of the station vehicles, towards a elevation of 400 mts. above the accessible elevation of the tank lorries.
This project integrate:
- The advantages of INPRO Two Parts technology for High Flow Systems. This system allows higher elevations of the fuel, and the control of the pressure near the consumption point.
- The collaboration of the engineering company Cruz Marqués, S.L, and our Technical Department which has designed and produced a custom made solution for this problem.
